A pretty interesting interpretation that appears to be pretty accurate to me:

Wow. Was that ever confusing. Who’s on first ?
I laughed when I read your comment because I know how difficult it can be to recall all the minute details of Bible history and geography. I think the guy who put together this video got it right, however.
I think the main problem with this video is that he doesn’t recognize that the entire Bible is about Jesus. After the fall (Adam’s sin), God promised a savior in Genesis 3:15. That and the rest of the OT points to Jesus. Those in the OT who believed in God’s promise to send a Messiah (Jesus) are His chosen people. The Gospel writers trace Jesus’ ancestry to the tribe of Judah. Jesus is how God fulfilled His promise to Abraham. In the OT, only the Israelites (and a few Gentiles) were given this revelation, but since Jesus came and gave the Holy Spirit to indwell His followers, the gospel is being spread around the world (all people are blessed through Him). Just as in the OT, “God’s people” today remain those who have faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It was a small remnant in those times, and a relatively small remnant today.
Thanks, Mike. That’s a fair criticism, and I agree with the statements you make. I think the person who created the video had a narrow purpose and scope even though he covered a lot of ground.
