The Constitution Party of North Carolina has gathered and submitted well in excess of the number of signatures required to gain ballot access in North Carolina this year. But the State Board of Elections (SBOE) is playing games and throwing up barriers to prevent the party from being certified. Carolina Journal has the details.

Recently, Cleta Mitchell of the Conservative Partnership Institute asserted that a “Deep State” exists within election offices throughout the country. It appears that is true in North Carolina:
