This is a good discussion between Mike Slater and Michael Knowles– two young men both of whose work I admire. They agree that America was essentially a Christian nation until recent times. Knowles points out that a number of the individual states during the earlier days of our nation had an established religion– thereby proving that the “separation of church and state” is a myth. They agree that we now have a prevailing “anti-religion”:

The nation that reverences God and His Word will be blessed by God. In contrast, the nation that rejects God and His Word will be rejected by God. The choice is ours.
Psalm 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
And the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Great verse, Fred. The converse of what is being communicated in that verse might explain why we are having to endure all that has been occurring during recent years.
