Assassination Attempt On President Trump

It has been quite an evening. The valor the former President demonstrated after he was shot is something we will all remember.

I initially watched the coverage on CBS News. The female anchor– Margaret Brennan– repeatedly tried to make it seem that it was glass or shrapnel that struck the president. Later she had to concede that it was a bullet, and that he had been shot. In fact, the gunshot nearly killed him. It was only a matter of an inch or two, and the outcome would have been completely different.

At no point did I see the incident referred to on CBS as an attempted assassination. Later– only a couple of hours after the incident– this same female anchor attempted to criticize Trump for failing to make a statement to tamp down emotions. He was apparently supposed to do this when he had been shot only a couple of hours prior to her statement.

At the very least, this assassination attempt was a failure on the part of the Secret Service. Even amateurs could foresee that there is a need to secure any areas from which a shooting could take place at such an event. This particular location at the fairgrounds likely was not suitable for the rally; and that should have been identified well in advance.

The reflexive presumption on the part of many conservatives is that the now-deceased assassin is part of the vicious, violent left. I am in the process of reading Jack Posobiec’s new book– The Unhumans– and he documents that the killing of political opponents often occurs when Marxist revolution is attempted or is in progress. He provides examples throughout history.

Many of us, in fact, were expecting an assassination attempt on President Trump.

Tonight, Republicans and conservatives are blaming the media and the left for their incendiary language about Trump over nearly a decade. That might have been a contributing factor.

However, some of us might wonder whether this action was instigated or intentionally allowed by the US government itself. Given all that we have learned during recent years, we cannot regard that as being beyond the realm of possibility. Could this have been the covert work of one or more federal agencies or departments?

  1. All possibilities are, or at the very least should be on the table. Always listen for the excuse makers, the ones who try to divert our attention away from the observable facts – the ones who dismiss legitimate concerns in favor of laying the blame squarely at the victim’s feet. Buried deep within their tangled web of deception, the truth lies.

    1. I agree, Jan. The corrupt media has been awful thus far on the Trump assassination attempt; but they are paid cheerleaders for not only the democratic socialist party headed by Biden, but also for the globalist, international left of which they are an intrinsic part. Globalism is really transnational socialism.

I think all eyes ought to be on Mayorkas. The Secret Service years ago used to be under the Treasury Department, but now it is under Homeland Security. I will try to post about this later today.
