I had posted here within the last couple of weeks about the decision by Cone Health to allow itself to be acquired by Kaiser Permanente’s division called Risant Health.
Since then, there have been a couple of articles– one by Ed Cone in the News and Record, and one on the AMA website. These articles place a favorable light on the merger and on Risant’s emphasis upon value-based care, respectively.
I can’t help but feel as if I see lipstick being assiduously applied around the mouth of a pig.
