Is There Still A Basis for NATO?

NATO was formed in the aftermath of WWII to establish an alliance of free nations in opposition to the Soviet Union. It was a defense of western civilization, rooted in Christianity, with a common goal of resisting totalitarianism.

Now, it is a shambles. We see in France during the Olympics how the LGBT ideology now prevails. Socialism severely hamstrings the economies of many of these nations, including but not limited to the United States. We see increasing prosecutions against Christians. And we see prosecutions also against political conservatives. This is occurring in numerous western countries.

Europe has allowed itself to be overrun with Muslim migrants from Africa and the Middle East. Some of the European nations are in danger of losing their very identity as a consequence. But the real palpable impact is crime. Some of the criminal acts have been egregious to a degree these countries usually had not experienced during recent times.

Tommy Robinson is a major figure in Great Britain. He has a history of reporting and mobilizing people against this migration. He does not speak with an upper class British accent; but instead seems to have working class roots. Check out the interview below in which he demonstrates a certain level of agitation after he had been targeted by law enforcement in England. The precipitant was the fact that he had led demonstrations in response to an incident in which three young girls were stabbed to death by the son of a migrant from Rwanda.

Is this why we have NATO? So that the member nations can surrender our cultural heritage and take away citizens’ basic rights?

  1. We’d better off without NATO. The hit job They put on Dr. Jones is criminal.

    1. I agree, Gale, on both points. Besides the fact that the common attributes and interests that justified NATO no longer exist, it could drag us into a war those other member nations provoked that would not be good for us. That has been a risk with the Ukraine situation from the outset. And yes, the instances of Tommy Robinson and Alex Jones illustrate how deeply corrupt western governments have become.
