No Central Bank Digital Currency In North Carolina

The Raleigh Republicans did something good this week. They were successful in the NC House overriding Roy Cooper’s veto of a bill that would prohibit the state from dealing with any central bank digital currency adopted by the Federal Reserve.

The NC Senate now would need to override also. But this is a positive development that protects our freedoms.

  1. Amen. All efforts to render CBDC explicitly illegal before the depths of the next recession–when the money-printing thieves at the FED turn totally expedient– are especially important.

    1. Yes, Healey, I think this was a really good move. Unfortunately, the CBDC will quickly become a tool for the aspiring totalitarians who have revealed themselves more fully during recent years.
