Washington Post’s Slam of Kamala’s Price Controls

The Washington Post tends to act like a subsidiary of the Democratic Party, the Deep State and the Washington establishment. That is why it might have seemed surprising when an op-ed piece and then a full editorial published by the Washington Post opposed Kamala Harris’ price control scheme.

However, we need to remember that the Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos, the chairman of Amazon. Amazon, of course, sells all kinds of consumer goods and groceries. In addition, Amazon owns and controls the grocery store Whole Foods.

Her proposal would have directly harmed Bezos’ businesses. And thus we understand why the Washington Post did something it would not ordinarily do.
