NC Covid-19 Court Cases

Carolina Journal has a good article that outlines eight separate cases being considered by the NC Supreme Court that will address how state and local government handled the Covid pandemic.

Indeed, for most of us, the Covid pandemic represents the very worst of how state and local government have performed during our entire lifetime. In spite of this, most of our public officials have not been held accountable for the harm they caused.

This includes Governor Roy Cooper, state Attorney General Josh Stein and former NCDHHS Secretary Mandy Cohen. Stein, of course, is running for governor; and Cohen was “promoted” by Biden to lead the CDC.

It will be interesting to see how the NC Supreme Court, controlled by Republicans, handles these cases. Unfortunately, the GOP does not have a good record with regard to the handling of Covid-19. While they represented somewhat of an improvement over the socialists, neither party performed particularly well during the pandemic.

Well said, Triad. It took rare fortitude to rise above the sheep-like uniformity induced by the bribery and intimidation-censorship of the medical-industrial-complex of all media. It is galling to remember that $1.5 billion of our tax money was used to bribe the media. But the few people who did speak up, like gubernatorial candidate Dan Forest, were Republicans.
