Various sites are alleging that the direction of Hurricane Helene might have been altered intentionally. I don’t know what to say about that:
I am naturally skeptical of theories such as this one. But I am old enough to remember reports of ice being used to alter the path of hurricanes away from landfall, not toward.
It seems that altering the path of a hurricane would be tough to pull off, Fred. But I don’t know enough about it.
