I know for a fact that there all sorts of citizens groups pitching in out in western NC.
Yes, there are, Fred. The response of the people is amazing.
There have been many rescues by “first responders” like firefighters deployed through the state’s emergency management system. But there have been gaping holes in the response, obviously.
