1. Influence some of the congressional races, perhaps. Securing a GOP majority Congress in both houses would make it less likely there would be shenanigans with certification of the vote. And getting a bigger majority would make it less likely the establishment Republicans will ruin things.
2. Make it more likely that he can win the popular vote. That would legitimize his win more. But this has been difficult to do for Republicans.
