I can’t imagine any circumstance that could justify such a large number of city employees paid that amount. And remember it’s not cops and firefighters on the front lines who are getting those big salaries.
This looks very suspicious to me.
It appears that the city exists to provide a very comfortable living for a class of professionally trained and educated administrative staff who produce absolutely nothing. This is the equivalent of a local Deep State. The City Council funds these positions to reward that administrative class.
The many years of repeated tax and fee increases we have faced provide the funding for this administrative class.
The administrative class has found its gravy train.
This is such a waste of taxpayer money, Fred. And few know about it.
