The Imperative To Vote, And How To Choose Among Candidates

Exodus 18:21 (NKJV)

Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

We learn from the Christian Post that scripture provides us with guidance as to how to choose political leaders. Perhaps we ought to take heed.

Given the fact that God wants us to elect those who hate covetousness, that rules out voting for a Democrat under nearly all circumstances. Indeed, covetousness is the very basis for their political philosophy.
