It is good the US Supreme Court did the right thing when it ruled that illegals can be removed from the voting rolls in the state of Virginia. (It is incomprehensible that issue could not have been settled earlier than one week before election day!)
What is even MORE encouraging, however? The fact that the high court is willing to rule on election matters this year. There may be additional election-related cases for the court to address over the next month or two.
The repeated decisions to punt on these matters four years ago set us up for the problems our country is now experiencing. Perhaps the Republican justices have learned from their mistakes and their cowardice back then.
