The Triad Business Journal breathlessly reports that Cone Health has hired a new executive as ” chief culture, equity and belonging officer” to oversee and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts.
Remain mindful that we all pay for this junk– as taxpayers, as payers of insurance premiums and as healthcare consumers.
And make no mistake about it. It IS junk. It is garbage, courtesy of Cone Health, imposed on all the people within its service area.
” Belonging Officer ” ?? Huh. DEI. Thought it was dead.
Apparently, Fred, it is not dead in the hearts of the true believers like those at Cone.
