It seems it was just yesterday that Jefferson Griffin was ahead by 8,000 votes. Now, Riggs holds a slim lead of less than 200 votes. We learn this on a Friday night after everyone else stops paying attention. Various counties have still been counting provisional ballots and mail ballots even though it is now fully ten days after the election.
We learn vividly that elections in North Carolina are corrupt. What is the state GOP going to do about it?
The longer the “vote counting” goes on, the more boxes of Emergency Democrat votes appear. In fact, I cannot think of an instance off hand of one of these extended vote count affairs that aren’t awarded to the Dem.
Healey, what is happening is truly outrageous. And I agree that the tendency is for the outcome to go precisely in the direction you suggest when extended vote counts take place.
If there are shenanigans in our system, expose them and let’s have honest elections that inspire the public’s confidence in them.
I agree, Fred. I hope the GOP is on top of this, and getting its toughest lawyers involved.
