Here is a good discussion on the terrain for getting his nominations confirmed, on the FBI, and also what may follow:

I am sure there will be some bumps on the road to getting his cabinet nominations confirmed. The wolves are already nipping at Matt Gaetz’s paws.
If Trump wants them he should get them.
Even though Republicans will have a majority with 53 senators, Fred, they will have a functional minority because they are all over the map. Liberal, moderate, establishment, conservative– there is no unity, nor is there any semblance of it.
The only people Trump can get confirmed are those who are worthless or who have little track record.
Notice that it is the people who are really dangerous to the DeepState about whom these flimsy sexual impropriety rumors are spread…Trump, Julian Assange, Matt Gaetz. Yet they have all the Epstein evidence, reams of it, with nary a prosecution; one presumes they merely use it to keep people (John Roberts?) under their thumb & in line. Gaetz is heroically good. Let’s do all we can to support him.
Good grief! Trump just won an epic victory against the mass of the institutional Western world. Can we at least let him have the team he wants?
I agree, Healey. By the way, put Justices Thomas and Kavanaugh on your list. There are probably others.
