Euthanasia In Canada

It is responsible for 1 in 20 deaths in Canada. It is the fifth leading cause of death there.

Euthanasia in Canada is not always taking place in the context of terminal illness or chronic pain. Instead, it is also being carried out because of mental health issues and social deprivation. Indeed, these latter causes are increasingly prevalent.

Euthanasia is bound to be a “slippery slope”. The advocates say it is intended for the terminally ill; but then its application expands dramatically.

Some states within the USA have liberalized euthanasia laws. They are playing with fire. I hope it doesn’t come to North Carolina because it is inconsistent with the biblical, pro-life position. It is immoral.
