Money printing (& to a lesser extent other actions/policies of govt) has driven the cost of a home out of the reach of the next generation of wage earners. Home prices relative to avg. wage have gone up tremendously.
I agree, Healey. This is governmental malpractice.
That is shocking but true. I know this from personal experience.
When I bought my first home, Fred, interest rates were 9%. I know what impact that has. But homes were much more inexpensive back then especially in the South. Now, young people face a double whammy– expensive homes and high interest rates. And it is all because of bad government.
