The stories were profusive online today.
The Associated Press (AP) initially ran a story about Jefferson Griffin. Apparently when he was a college student at UNC Chapel Hill during the early 1990’s, he wore a Confederate uniform in connection with a fraternity event.
That, of course, is deemed a matter that justifies outrage and rendering this gentleman unworthy of a seat on the state Supreme Court. Other media outlets dutifully picked up the story.
Recall that Griffin has brought election challenges in connection with his race for state Supreme Court this past November. These challenges are to be considered by that same NC Supreme Court.
During this period, Griffin and his family have been subject to violent threats issued by the vicious political left. In addition, they lost their infant daughter. AP Dillon has the details. (HT: Carolina Plott Hound)
Someone– likely a fellow ex-UNC student– fed this story to the AP. And the AP ran the story because it wants the state Supreme Court to regard Griffin as radioactive. The AP wants his opponent– Justice Allison Riggs– to prevail. Recall that Riggs had committed ethical violations during her campaign.
When do you see the corrupt media running stories about Democrats having previous affiliations with Marxist or communist groups or political parties? Never.
No.. Not ever !
Of course not, Fred. It is part of the game they play.
