I have received several mailers at my home directed against conservative Judge Jefferson Griffin who is running for a seat on the NC Supreme Court. The organization behind the mailers is North Carolina Families First.
The pieces attempt to excoriate Griffin on the matter of abortion.
When I searched this organization on the state Board of Elections website, it does not have any current financial reports. However, reports from previous election cycles suggest the organization receives donations in large amounts– i.e. tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars– from other left wing groups. It receives money from Soros indirectly through other organizations.
Griffin is running against the incumbent radical socialist judge Allison Riggs.
I will be voting for Griffin. But if he wants to win, he will need some strong advertising to counter the efforts the far left is orchestrating against him.
Let’s hope the down ballot pulls some conservatives across the finish line.
I hope so, Fred (assuming Trump wins the state, of course). The polls are not looking very favorable for many of these “down ballot” races so far.
